This is part of my series of train-inspired landscapes painted on my LIRR train tickets to celebrate the railroad: the tracks, the colors and feel of the city outside the windows, the beautiful skies, stations and rail cars. I find that riding the train, and the process of painting it as a subject, is a meditation on the beauty of the present moment. Each piece is a small artful window to the beauty of the railroad.

The specifics: This mini art is giclee-printed on 4" x 6" high-quality thick archival paper. The printed art is the same size as the original painting - the exact size and shape of a LIRR train ticket.
