During the summer of 2009, Akridge asked various artists to paint a temporary mural on a wall sitting outside the Nationals Baseball Stadium. I painted this playful yet serene scene among the crowds milling to the baseball games on July 4th Weekend. It was an amazing experience. I met many interesting folks as they wandered by. The experience affirmed my enthusiasm for art out in the public that engages anyone and everyone.
